Control, Actions, Feedback

As described in project overview this use case is not fully automated. Bare in mind that is IOT for farmers that are usually skeptical in the use of modern technologies and do not fully trust automatic procedures, so monitoring tools exist (and can still be improved) but decisions are still made manually.

Farmers have a number of parameter that can be used for decision making : Air quality, wind direction, gust and intensity, weather forecast, terrain humidity and so on. Shelly cloud collect many of these parameter in the dashboard, weather station provide detailed information, so there are anumber of parameters to be evaluated, as well as farmer expertise based on human factors. Once decision is taken (from treatments to irrigation) Shelly devices act as actuator, controlling pumps, electro valves, timed operation and manual bypass, all operated locally or remotely.

Feedback of such operations can be collected either from Shelly advice (push actions) as well as alert from other devices, webcam can be used to visual check the result of this with real-time feedback and augmented reality display anytime, everywhere.

Logical flow represent the Control, monitoring and operation feedback for end-to-end operations.
